The Hawken Shop® has added a new tomahawk to it’s line of “Made In The USA” products. In keeping with the quality of our well known competition throwing hawk we now present The J Hawk. While our Head Lok Hawk is designed for competition throwing it’s not a great camp tool. With that in mind we now offer the J hawk. It has a 4 1/4” blade face and a hickory handle. With a weight of 1lb. 7 ounces and an overall length of 19” it’s light to carry yet this hawk can perform around the camp tasks.

Our Tomahawk is cast using 1095 high carbon steel, cast in Arkansas from our tooling, capable of being hardened but it is not hardened by us to prevent breaking when thrown. (it’s a target tool, not a hatchet). The handle is Tennessee hickory and all components are Made in The USA. Even the head lok screw is custom made for us in Oregon. The sheath is cut and sewn by us, including the thong, from leather imported from Montana.
